Yeah, free legal representation is state appointed for criminal cases. Not civil cases, such as divorce.

If you can spare $5 but can't take a chance in helping someone because you think it might be a scam, I'm really not sure what to tell you.
God I just love people like you. Men are instant criminals for being men. My x got free legal representation for the divorce. If she is here on Visa, she can get a job, why the immigrant status problem?

To me it sounds like a scam. you want to think with your feels, all the more power to you. I prefer using logical thinking, the story doesn't add up. She can go home to her family you know, instead of begging for money on the interwebs.

Besides, since when do you care about children Allereli? They are parasites, remember?

I think he means like this

You Are a Victim of Domestic Violence

If you are a victim of domestic violence, or fear for your safety, you may qualify for free legal aid from organizations that can help you gather evidence of abuse and file for restraining orders, among other things. For immediate assistance no matter where you are located - contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).

Either way you should give your friend this number.

Here is another website to check out for legal help. Assuming they are in the NoVA area as well.

Nope, don't mean that at all, there are numerous organizations to help women in this supposed situation. None for men, but that's a whole different topic of discussion.

rofl what? Those both help men that are victims of domestic abuse. You never even research what you're saying before just blabbing stuff out.

We had this one dude in the Marines whose wife beat his ass all the time. He refused to hit her back so he just took it. One day the MPs got a call. He was able to get a Victim Advocate just fine, being a man and all.

They aren't oriented for any sex. A victim is a victim, they help both. Stop being dense.

I'm seeing one for the U.K............well there is one in the US for gay men.

I think it's upwards of 100+ organizations specifically for women (it's more like 120, but I like to cover my ass)..........we have found one specifically for men...in the UK.

There ARE organizations for helping ANYONE that has suffered Domestic Abuse. Stop trying to create divides and make up stuff, most of them are for BOTH sexes.
