I had a paper rejected by the Association for Computing Machinery a few months ago and can appreciate the frustration of working very hard on something and having it turned away. We're working on some additions that might make the paper publishable, but it's a lot of work and of course there's no guarantee of it being accepted.

Yeah, just sucks because now I have to reformat for another journal. Not a huge deal, just more time wasted trying to conform to another publisher's publication limits. It's a good paper, just didn't quite fit the journal, apparently.
