Polearm with Rebalance Flares

Poleaxe flares are fun and quite rare, and once the weighting is gone you could enchant it (and up to +20 can be a side project). You'll do better than 35k. 100k? 1m? I don't know. For stuff without a lot of comps (e.g. 7x fusion) it's just a matter of lucking into auctioning it off when at least two people are interested.

While true, you then run into the realm of the fact that it's a trident. Not exactly a strong contender within the polearm weapon class.

Thanks. Info provided as been extremely useful. Going to get rid of the weighting quickly and give it to friend to increase the enchant as much as he is able and then sell it. Thanks for the private advice too. Much appreciated. The GS PC community kick advisory ass!

I think Goat's 8x lance or awl pike with the same flares went for 25m. And as whirlin said, the heavy polearms are usually the more sought after. So I guess somewhere below that would be the payoff for ET'ing it up to 7x, not to mention wouldn't ET'ing it require potions due to the enhancive on it?

Just pointing out all the work involved and the realistic payoff because ... I want it I do use tridents, and as such I pm'd you with what I think is a generous offer in its current form. I would make use the temporary weighted, and when the weighting is off, I think temporary flares could be added to for quite cheaply as the charge is by enchant, to make a pretty good weapon despite the enchant.

Also, agree with the other poster that this one should be eventually higher ET'ed wherever it ends up!

If you use it one-handed, a trident isn't quite as good as a spear, though it's still passable. It's ALMOST worth taking up to7x. Whirlin sold me his +31 lance with rebalancing flares for 12m, though it also had troll bane on it.

I ensorcelled it too... That lance is awesome. So many flares against trolls.
