    Nah, that's no fun.

You have to do it so it's an art. That way they eat it. And don't know better. Then everyone in back is laughing, and morale is improved. Yay morale!

Oh I can have fun with that.

No no, the guy who did it made fuck sure they ate it. Our line cook was a master at covering stuff up. I remember this one old guy who was a total prick. He sent everything from his table back because his food wasn't cooked to his liking. It was so bad that my manager at the time was like "Guys, I'm gonna step outside for a smoke. This guy is that much of a pain my ass. Sometimes I wish I could serve people like that awful food."

Now anyone who has worked in a place that has something that deals with wood smoked meat can probably tell you that there's a bin to keep the wood in. It's filled with water and after a few days, reeks of raw sewage. The cook at the time dropped the guys meat in there for about 10 minutes. Went about his business before coming back, fishing the meat out and using the black rag we use to wipe down the grill with to 'clean it off'. It was putrid and the guy took a bite, gagged and ran to the bathroom. It was amazing.

These people are also more likely to be assaulted, so there's that. It's a trade off, I guess.

We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men. Edward R. Murrow

    I don't rant. I'm more a quiet plotter.
