My grandmother made an Irish knit white wool afghan for me in 1974. I used it occasionally until I had kids, at which point it went into storage, and it hasn't seen the light of day for 20 years. I pulled it out of exile on Christmas day, and there was a huge coffee stain dead center. I can only assume the ex did it during the divorce, then packed it neatly back in it's box.
