Wouldn't it be ironic if in the interest of global warming we mandated massive switches to energy, which is a finite resource, which slows the winds down, which causes the temperature to go up? Now, I'm not saying that's going to happen, Mr. Chairman, but that is definitely something on the massive scale. I mean, it does make some sense. You stop something, you can't transfer that heat, and the heat goes up. It's just something to think about."

He's also made claims that the Flood in the Bible that Noah made his big boat for is clearly a case that the climate changes without men to cause it. He's quite hilarious.

    Edit: Another ACC report

(CNN) -- Climate change isn't something in the far-off future: It's a potentially disastrous reality that's already starting to have effects that are expected to worsen, experts say.
Longer summers and heavier rainfalls are some of the impacts Americans are already seeing, according to the National Climate Assessment. We should expect more flooding, wildfires and drought. Article
A relentless campaign backed by the fossil fuel industry and its allies challenges whether climate change is real, and if so, whether human activity such as increased carbon emissions from power plants, factories and cars contributes to it. Article

How did you manage to cite CNN? Aren't they still looking for that missing plane?

IKR. It's a May Miracle. They actually reported on a story that wasn't centered on the Indian Ocean. They'll probably tie it in somehow. Maybe ACC dropped the plane. They already ran with the black hole theory so why not.

There was some news today about the western Antarctic Ice Sheets. Two reports came out that have come to the conclusion that these ice sheets are goners. It'll take a century or more but can raise sea levels about 15 feet. Apparently, it's been warmer in the western Antarctic than they knew.

Rignot's team based their findings on a detailed analysis of radar data from two European Earth Remote Sensing satelllites, ERS-1 and ERS-2. Joughin's team relied on radar maps primarily derived from an aerial NASA survey called Operation IceBridge.

Scientists have been warning for decades that the West Antarctic Ice Sheet was in peril due to climate change, and recent readings have shown that the region is warming more quickly than expected. The loss of ice that is floating on the seas surrounding the continent would not contribute significantly to sea level rise. However, losing the ice that's currently grounded on the continent would. Fuck you Penguins!

I don't believe in man's contribution to global warming! I mean, the Earth is Huge! How much could my Hummer possibly do?

The Earth was created in 6 days and then God rested. He would not have created an Earth that men made in his image destroy!

And men make up half the population. So, scientifically, since women don't grill on the bar-b-que, there is no way men are responsible for climate change!

I know this because I believe it.

    And yet...

You believe in man made climate change.

You believe in raising taxes on the "wealthy" to pay for all the country's woes.

You believe that gun control will stop gun crime.

You believe ACA will reduce the deficit, insurance costs and medical costs.

You believe Bush should have been impeached (and likely jailed on war crimes).

You believe Clinton had a surplus.

    .....

    I believe in a God.
