As I stated before, it was not immoral to receive welfare once you'd already been forced to pay into it.

According to every source I could find on the issue, Ayn Rand and her husband, combined, received a total of roughly $14,000 dollars in social security benefits. No Medicare information could be found.

This would be a very small fraction of the amount she paid into those programs over 50 years of working in Hollywood and writing several best-sellers.

These are both people that advocated/advocate the destruction of social programs yet benefited from them.

Ayn Rand did not benefit from them.

I don't know about Paul Ryan, never bothered looking in to his past.

She was on Social Security and most certainly did benefit. Paul Ryan's college tuition was paid by parental Social Security benefits.

Dude, Ayn Rand collected Social Security.

Learn about what you think you know about anything. Please. For yourself.

Exactly what was the benefit of her receiving back a very small portion of the money taken from her in the first place?
