    Got it.
I'm not saying that exactly. I do think Obama f'ed up with his, if you like it you can keep it speech.

The facts though, are that for the vast majority of people you will have no disruption in health care and for another large group you'll have as much inconvenience as if your employer switches health care insurers. Not a big deal.

As for the insurance companies motiviations it's simple. They're motivation is to make as much money as possible and they are! They're making a killing off of obamacare.

    NEW YORK (CNNMoney)
Californians are flocking to the Obamacare health exchange there, with 10,000 a day registering on the web site last week.
Younger Californians age 18 to 34 account for about 22.5% of the sign ups in October, just about the share they represent in the state population...
"Not only are we seeing strong enrollment numbers overall, but enrollment in key demographics like the so-called young invincibles is very encouraging," said Lee.

7 million people in California don't have health insurance and 80,000 people have gotten insurance through the health exchange so far. That's a little over 1% in almost two months. Sounds like a failure to me.

The enrollment period, previously scheduled to begin Oct. 15, 2014, will now start Nov. 15, said an official with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services who asked not to be identified because the decision isn’t public. The change is important to insurers that need more time to evaluate the first year of the government-run marketplaces.
Technical problems are undermining efforts to attract a broad array of customers to the new markets, a prerequisite to keeping plans affordable in the long run. Keeping prices from spiking next year is “absolutely critical” for President Barack Obama if he wants to preserve his signature legislative achievement, said Ana Gupte, a Leerink Swann & Co. analyst.

Who didn't see this coming? Push it back to AFTER the mid-terms.

This is the biggest FUCK YOU to the American people that Obama could do really.

"Hey, we aren't going to let you sign up or see prices till AFTER you re-elect all my peons."

The Obama Whitehouse is on it's last leg, and they know it.

We'll have to see how it ends up. The biggest number of signups will be at the last minute. I'm glad to see some good news about the rollout though.

That doesn't make any sense. I thought Obamacare was so great and it was lowering everyone's premiums and saving money and millions of lives, why is everyone waiting until the last second to sign up?

Don't know. Romneycare was the same way. They only had 123 enrollees in the first month. It picked up steam though and now the voters of MA are pretty happy with it.

Hey Cwolff, would you be happy with CRB paying your GS subscription/s for you? I bet you would.

If Obamacare was "affordable" people would be sure to sign up before Jan 1st if they currently have no insurance. Most certainly if they were not in perfect health.

Obama is just praying he can somehow keep the Senate and take back the House. So he can then say, "ACA failed, so we are going to a single payer system"

Pretty amazing considering during its entire run only about 60% of the uninsured people in MA got insurance and it's especially amazing they are still happy with this law today considering it's been repealed.
