I should be asleep right now. I have to be up in less than six hours to get to my dentist's office for my permanent crown and a second fix on my chipped tooth. Why am I not asleep?

Yay! So glad to hear she's doing well, Poet.

And get some magic sleep drugs, Dex!

Wyrom: Crux already died for our sins.
SEND[Kenstrom] Behold Dark Cruxophim, Blood Reaver and Weaver of Shadows, eater of Rooks, corruptor of orphans, flayer of flesh...but won't read a letter from some dying woman's diary, haha.
Thadston says, "Stand down Baron, and your men. Or I swear to Koar, Liabo, Lornon, Cruxophim, I will release your daughter and watch her die right here."
Stormyrain evenly asks, "Did you just make Cruxophim a god?"

Just like I thank dinosaurs for going extinct every time I buy oil.

Nothing wrong with paying homage to the dead, no matter how long they've been deceased.

Thank you, dinosaurs, for dying so that I can pay 4.00+ per gallon of gas.

But I don't thank the gas companies for providing a service and taking my money.

Paying for a service is not a measure of thanks, it is an obligation. A tip is a measure of thanks. Be sure to tip your doctor.

I'm sure my doctor doesn't make enough. I'll tip him a 5 next time, I'm sure he'll be thrilled.

"Enough" is a very loose term. After spending a decade in school, if I had to put up with the same amount of bullshit and red-tape, not to mention doing regular business with scam-ass insurance companies, I'd be looking to bring home some cash too.
