You ring the bell, and ask Larton if he can open your thanot chest.
He looks over the thanot chest, frowns, and tells you, "Havin' some trouble, eh? Of course I could open this, but it'll cost ya. Gimme 2480 silvers, and I'll have it open before you know it."
    >Sarvia leans on Kiske, giving her a companionable grin.
    >
    Larton accepts your silvers.
Having paid, you place an enruned thanot chest on the counter. Then, Larton turns his attention to the thanot chest and picks the lock with ease. "There you go," he says matter-of-factly as he hands your chest back to you.
    >
    open my che
    look in my che
    get coins from my che
The spotted owl flaps his wings a few times.

You open an enruned thanot chest.

    There is nothing in there.

I was hoping there was going to be just 2480 silvers in the box.

My pit bull ripped her way out of her metal kennel tonight while we were at dinner. Just... tore the front off it. It looks kind of like the cages the zombie Dobermans came out of in the first Resident Evil, only without all the flesh dripping off of them. She did get a little scraped up but, amazingly, nothing bleeding. That's a relief but still. DAMNIT DOG. And to think I gave her an extra lamb chew when we left.

Dogs that can (and are willing to) rip a metal kennel open, totally not dangerous.

If you were put in a metal kennel, wouldn't you want to rip your way out?

Really just giving you shit. Not a pit-bull hater. Dogs are dogs, they respond the way their training dictates. If training is insufficient, they respond the way their instincts dictate. The problem in the majority of dog attacks are the humans who lack an understanding of dogs.

It's been in the triple digits and the new puppy insists on making sure there's not enough space to squeeze in a split hair between us at all times. Including at night.
