When I was having an issue with UPS about a month ago, the woman in their corporate office told me to sign up for that so I could request a "Leave at" location, and emphasized how it was free and convenient. Of course she omitted the fact that the "leave at" request is one of the paid membership features. That was awesome.

I did sign up for the texts. If they're not here by the time I have to go pick my kids up, either I or UPS will be SOL.

You still live with her??? Dude no wonder you're so awkward lately, and I say that as the previous title holder for awkwardest dude in dudedom.

I think we should have an awkward-off. I bet I win.

Yeah- my son really likes his school and I want him to be able to finish the year with his teacher and classmates. We'll be moving to the same town we lived in before, so he will be going back to his previous school... but yeah basically I am stuck here until after his last day of school which is thankfully may 30th. I did manage to get him into the extended school year program so he will get to ease back into his old school by going for what is essentially a month of half-days in the middle of the summer.

I am trying to be friendly and make the best of it. Apparently my attempt at a friendly and trustworthy demeanor has inspired my ex to be more forthcoming than I would prefer about how in love she is with her co-worker. As little as 5-6 years ago, the simple answer would have been to beat him to death in front of her, but alas having children complicates matters. The only thing in my life now that matters and gives me purpose is my son. I will swallow my rage and do what is best for him.

If you think I am afraid to publicly cite the detailed literature I composed (not wrote... composed) featuring you, you are absolutely correct.

You should see a therapist. I highly recommend it from personal experience, though admittedly not your particularly... no, astonishingly... no, Sean2esquely ridiculous level of personal experience.

My plan was just to drink on the weekends.

Yeah it's funny, and it's very compelling in a shitty situation, and not to get after school special on you, but a self-medicating alcoholic isn't what's best for your son.

Best of luck to you, sincerely.

    1) That's pretty fucked of her.

    2) Yeah that doesn't work. I tried to stay friendly. It lasted all of like 2 months until he douched it up. Now we don't even speak. Thankfully, however, we do not live together.
