Actually my point was that most if not all of the black Americans running around today, or at least the ones with real slave ancestry (PROTIP: Just because someone is black doesn't necessarily mean their ancestors were slaves) either wouldn't exist today, or would be living in the exotic and tropical paradise that is Africa, which is clearly a better place to live than America and all.

I'm not trying to justify slavery at all, but people act like white people invaded Africa and kidnapped all these black people to bring back here as slaves. What do you think the percentage is of black people in America today that know how slaves came to be in America in the first place? I'd say less than 10%, but that's just a guess.

Besides, what would America be without upstanding members of our society like Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, the YOU GONNA GET RAPED guy, or Antoine Dodson?

Is it possible that if slavery never took place, people like Michael Jordan would have never been born? Obama certainly wouldn't have been elected, since white guilt votes and the race card played a hefty role in that. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would have to get real jobs, and Morgan Freeman might not be here to narrate anything into awesomeness. And who would sell us All State insurance and Jello Pudding Pops?

And most importantly, would the movie Coming to America have been made if slavery never took place? That's something I'm not willing to take a chance on. That alone was worth slavery happening for.

When do you stop being upset with a group of people who have been oppressed by others in one form or another for the past 200+ years? Please show me one black person that is alive today that was a slave. Then please show me one white American that is alive today that owned a slave(s).

If someone had kicked one of my ancestors' asses 150+ years ago, I'd probably no be so upset about it now, especially if none of their descendants kicked any of my ancestor's descendents' asses.

Also, I never said that I was angry with anyone. I think a lot of them are completely ignorant on the matter, with morons like you only making things worse by telling them that it's ok to be mad at white people (including white people whose ancestors hadn't even come to this country until after slavery was long over) that are alive today over things that those white peoples' ancestors did to the black peoples' ancestors, and even black people whose ancestors hadn't come to this country until slavery was long over, despite the fact that nobody alive today did any of those things, nor did any black people alive today have those things done to them.
