Returning Player, New to Shattered

What's needed most in Shattered? I was thinking of making a Cleric so I can drag your sorry butts out of any bad situations. Or should I make an Empath? What Class would be most useful?

ok, would appreciate a template for a solid Cleric Build. Here to RP and practice Ruby. Don't really feel like researching how to build a cleric. Had one in the past but totally different game now.

i dont know anything about clerics really.. but most dont worry about builds until the 30 days are up, till then they usually just claid everything to death

I also wouldn't worry about RP in Shattered... pretty much just Ruby and AFK

Your attack spells are 302, 312, 317, and 319. You can see which skills affect them on the play.net website or via Lich as follows:

I've never felt the need to use SA on my clerics, so unless you really want that for some reason, probably safe to forget about it. Keep HP at level since you only get 1 mana per rank over level. Train AS/MIU as necessary. 2-3x spells; most major town nodes have plenty people around to cast spells on you automatically, so there's less incentive to train for the defensive spells early on which should allow you to focus more on getting a bit higher CS. 1x PF is a solid choice, too. Not sure what cleric requirements for double leathers are, but that's what I would wear, so find that and train armor accordingly.
