My boyfriend just informed me that we're expected to dress up for Thanksgiving dinner at his parents' house. I know I'm all weird and anti-family but I just can't see how Thanksgiving dinner with family is supposed to be a pleasant experience. Uncomfortable and awkward. Ugh.

I've had to do this since I was a kid. Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner is just a pissing contest between my uncle and my dad where they try to prove who has the best children. We've been down in points (so-to-speak) for years. So, every year its better than sunday's best... I think I'm gonna show up in sweats and be like fk you all.

I wish. I have a very severe taste aversion to alcohol. Even the smell of it from across a table gives me nausea. I've only be drunk 2 times in my life, and I had to fight SO HARD to get that far, it just wasn't worth it.

Eh. Alcohol just disinhibits you, and you end up telling everyone how much you hate them and their stupid, bigoted, republican ways. Or maybe that's just me.
