I'm scared to go to sleep

The deadbolt on my front door is messed up and I can't unlock it from the outside now, so I broke into my own apartment this afternoon when I couldn't get in the door. My neighbor and his wife helped me open a window, he crawled through and let me in my front door. The back door has a chain lock, which I didn't have on about 30 minutes ago because I was waiting to finish an episode of Bones and then I was gonna go out for a cig. But I thought the handle lock was on, apparently it wasn't because an adult male walked into my apartment, obviously drunk, and wanted to inform me that there was a college kid on my porch roof screaming. I know the girls upstairs sit out there when they smoke, I was just like O_______O WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU STANDING IN MY FUCKING LIVING ROOM.

I'm mortified. I've checked my doors and windows like eight times but I don't feel safe in the least.
