After 9 months of doctors, medication, and physical therapy I'm finally getting to a point where my neck/shoulders/back don't hurt all the time, and I got there without any sort of intrusive crap - no shots or anything else. I was feeling pretty good about that for the last week or two. Then a few days ago, my ring and pinky fingers on my left hand started tingling and going numb for no apparent reason. Moving my arm around or putting it in a different position did nothing for it. After a few days of this, I called my doctor (again. I swear the receptionist recognizes my voice now). I went to see her this morning - my hand is weaker than it should be, and shakes a lot (insert Michael J Fox jokes here), in addition to the numbness thing. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon in a couple weeks. This is also the first time the doctor dodged the issue when I said I wasn't a fan of the idea of surgery. In the past, she's always assured me that it wouldn't be necessary.
I so do not want some guy with sharp objects poking around my spinal cord.
Edit: Even better. The test I need to have done before going to see this guy involves poking a bunch of needles into my muscles and zapping me to see how things react

I am really fucking tired. I need sleep. Insert two incredibly angsty deleted posts about my boyfriend's infernal teeth-grinding and the moving company trying to dick us over along with two of our suppliers. I feel about... five more sleepless nights away from a psychotic break.
Alarm didn't go off. But my phone did when someone called me. wtfbro.
10 minutes late to class.
I got that job, by the way
A friend called and offered me her extra ticket to the midnight release of the new Twilight movie this evening. It's like she hates me.
I have a ticket for the first showing we have. My friend loves that shit and I said I'd go with her. I'll be taking vodka in with me or I won't make it.
