This is Piper, who I had to give up for adoption about a year ago, and I still feel more remorse about it than I ever thought I could.
On the plus side, I know she was adopted again right away because, although the humane society won't tell you if you ask specifically, you can still check their website and stuff.

And this is Sophie, Piper's life-partner. She was my sisters dog, but she wanted to get two little paris hilton dogs, and poor Sophie was always crated or kenneled, never really got any interaction. She has hip problems and is blind in one eye. She's back at my sisters, but her youngest son is older now and very dedicated to spending time with and taking care of her, so I let her go.

I currently have no pets, but I am willing to accept applications from females about 5'5 to 5'8, weighing anywhere between 110 and 111 pounds, redheads preferred but willing to negotiate.

Yes, yes, I do have a farm. The rest of the pets:

    1. Kansas
    2. Huck (short for Huckleberry)
    3. Whisper
    4. Tigger (R.I.P. for the best dog we ever had, even though she was a cat)

I appreciate all of these pets tremendously, and tell them so every day.

Alfie. He's a mutt basically but we think maybe a poodle/terrier of some sort? He's really tall but thin, and weighs around 35 lbs.

Stella, she is no longer with us, but she's the sweetest dog ever, and I miss her deeply.

    and..

Ari. The baby of the family. She's not this small anymore...she's about 80 lbs and a little over 1 year old!

(plus, we have two cats, Mickey and Thursday)

This is Southern. He's about 10 or 11 years old now, and an absolutely awesome cat.

Some days it's not worth chewing through the restraints.

I will never personally own another pet. I do not like out living them.

That's a shitty ass selfish reason not to give a home to one of the hundreds of THOUSANDS of pets sitting in shelters waiting to be euthenized.

But I didnt come to this thread to scold you.

    ....

My giant, reclusive feral cat...25 pounds, 2 and a half feet long.... for the first time ever came and got on my lap today. I was perfectly terrified: *no quick movements, no quick movements*. I just had to sit there for 15 minutes until he decided to go do something else. This is the first time he has ever initiated physical contact with me. I'm feeling rather smug with my feline socialization tactics today.

I think my iguana is almost two decades old. I should probably get him some calcified crickets again. Although that shit stinks to high hell.

    Iguana iguana. Ingenious taxonomy, ffff.
