SPOILER: Sunfist society powers talk

If Sunfist sucks I'm going back to CoL. I'll just roll another char to use Sunfist. I wonder if it'd be possible to open a camp with a secondary char, log...then go into the camp with my CoL Mage (or would that be abusing game mechanics if possible?)

So yeah anyone have a clue about this question?
