I had a longer statement for the post of Some jokes can be hurtful, but the point got lost and confused so I deleted it and tried to simplify. Sorry if I confused you.

Are you really that dumb? So, people should be able to read your mind when you make random pointless statements that don't follow the direction of the conversation, and automatically guess what you really meant by them? You should've just deleted the whole post or edited it completely out if your statement had no point.

I have inferred things incorrectly plenty of times on these boards, and seems you are not immune to it either. You need to read the statement, and take it for what it is, not try and make it mean more.

That's one of my big internet pet peeves. Whenever there's an argument/disagreement/lambasting, one side ALWAYS accuses the other of taking things too seriously, mostly on the grounds that this is the internet and ANYTHING on the internet is not worth being even slightly put out over. It's like Godwin's Law without the Nazis.
