    Gas:
    2020:
What was the average US gas price in 2020?
    $2.17 per gallon
U.S. regular retail gasoline prices averaged $2.17 per gallon (gal) in 2020, 44 cents/gal (17%) lower than in 2019 and the lowest annual average since 2016.

    2022:
    5.299 to 4.009
    4.008 to 3.822
    3.821 to 3.654
    3.653 to 3.425
    3.424 to 3.252

Yup... seems to be going well. Democrats - create a problem, never fully solve it, then expect people to be happy for the shitty conditions - that aren't as bad as they initially made them, but are still worse than before they got control of shit. Amazing logic.

You're right, we definitely should punish the oil and gas companies for illegal profiteering during a national emergency. What do you recommend? FTC order to separate production and refining? Criminal proceedings? Nationalization like almost every other country in the world?

In Seran’s defense, he’s legitimately retarded.

Sounds like a great idea. Let’s nationalize oil, create a petro state, and use that vast wealth to better the lives of our citizens…right?

Except Venezuela already tried and we have that as a great example of what not to do. Dumb commie Bernie sucking fool..

Only 7% of the world's oil and gas reserves are controlled by non-government controlled entities. Yet supposedly only Venezuela ever tried it. Moron.

Maybe that's why the US took over the world as fast as it did? The Government's power curtailed, allowing citizens to be entrepreneurs?

But you know... let's bring back socialism, communism, fascism, and totalitarianism... I'm sure it will work out with this much more "educated" populous.

Yet it's somehow private oil companies that cause high fuel prices....

    Totally logical.
