    Irrelevant tangent, thanks.

Are you personally going to be one of the people going door to door to confiscate semi-auto firearms or are you going to send the same police officers that you spent the last 5 years denigrating?
Just like Australia did to confiscate 650,000 guns which were illegally held, and saw a subsequent plummet of murders and suicides by gun. That is exactly how our country should do it.

This is incorrect, the Uvalde shooter purchased the first gun May 17, a day after his birthday and the second May 20. The shooting happened on May 24. A ten day waiting period that is in place in several states, would have prevented this instance from happening on May 24, 2022.

Look at their murder and suicide rate. It dropped momentarily, then rose back in step at the same rates at before. Just now, they are at the mercy of their totalitarian government to lock them in their homes and lose their right to protest and so on. The only winners there are the government who wanted totalitarian control.

In 1997 when the gun confiscation and buyback program concluded and 650,000 guns were removed from possession, the annual gun death rate was 428.

In 2019, the annual gun death rate was 229.

    How is that an increase?

    Pulse Night CLub:
It was just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Gruler ran toward the entrance after hearing the shots.
He was met by gunman Omar Mateen. Armed with a .223 caliber AR type rifle and a 9mm semiautomatic pistol, Mateen started exchanging gunfire with the officer.
Gruler quickly realized he was outgunned and called for backup. Gruler retreated and Mateen ran further inside the club.
Lt. Scott Smith and Sgt. Jeffrey Backhaus arrived a couple minutes later and rushed into the club. There was another flurry of shots between them and Mateen.
    Marjory:
An armed school resource officer of the Broward County Sheriff's Office was on campus when the shooting broke out, and he remained outside between Building 12 and the adjacent Building 7.
Armed people don't always equal less people dead/injured.

20+ million semi-auto weapons in the US. and you're going to offer people $50 for firearms that cost thousands?

Good luck with that. How many people are you willing to imprison or kill for not turning in their guns?

32% of Americans say they personally own a firearm according to the 2021 National Firearms Survey. This means that more than 81.4 million Americans own guns.
If just 1% of those people refuse to hand over their firearms, that's 810,000 people. That's 200,000 more people than there are police officers in the US.

How are you going to do it, Seran?
