Looks like Elon Musk isn't going to get a break from the SEC settlement he signed. Which is just too bad, he's such a well liked scam artist.
Judge knocks down Elon Musk’s bid to end SEC consent decree

A federal judge denied Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s bid to end a settlement agreement he struck with the SEC after it charged him with securities fraud in 2018.

The judge also denied Musk’s request to quash part of a newer subpoena by the federal financial regulators.

In his opinion, Judge Lewis J. Liman shot down an argument Musk attorneys made suggesting that the settlement agreement had chilled the CEO’s right to free speech.

A federal judge on Wednesday knocked down Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s bid to terminate a settlement agreement he struck with the Securities and Exchange Commission after the agency charged him with securities fraud in September 2018. The judge also denied Musk’s motion to quash a newer subpoena by the SEC.

The financial regulators had charged Tesla and Musk with making “false and misleading” statements to investors when the CEO announced on Twitter on Aug. 7, 2018, that he was thinking of taking the automaker private at $420 a share and had “funding secured.”

As part of a settlement agreement, Tesla and Musk each agreed to pay a $20 million fine. Musk also had to relinquish his role as chairman at Tesla for three years and agreed not to claim innocence or deny the allegations of the SEC’s complaint.

That's precisely why the board opted for a poison pill until he had funding. Once his funding was secure it's no longer a bluff

Leave it to Seran to be totally okay with what the corrupt SEC is doing.

Seriously. Musk makes some random musing on Twitter of all places and that is somehow "misleading investors"?

The entire federal system is corrupt, and Seran is perfectly okay with that as long as a Democrat is masquerading as president!

Yea.. and Trump was working with Russia too.

I mean, what could ever be the reason a random Judge would suddenly cancel an agreed upon deal between a private citizen and the SEC? Oh what... could... it... be? Hmmmmm...

I'm sure it's all just a big coincidence.

Oh yeah, a federal judge told Biden to keep title 42 in place. So much for Seran's misinformation claiming that no judge has gone against Biden. This is at least two times now Biden has done something unconstitutional by Seran's standards.

Kind of how the EPA is dragging it's feet at Boca Chica. This administration straight up has it out for this guy.

Watch all the arguments they'll try to make LOL... sad part is, no rational person wants anyone cancelled... the Left has just had a fucking monopoly on it for years - and the idea of an actual "town forum" that they can't censor scares the shit out of them.

That's because rational ideas win out - when they're not suppressed by ideologues.

People are all upset that a billionaire is taking over Twitter, neglecting the fact that billionaires basically own everything else.

And guess what Seran, the SEC still can't charge, nor convict someone of a felony. They can only launch lawsuits and clue in the FBI.

EPA? The FAA and the Army Corps of Engineers are responsible for the Boca Chica expansion permit and just recently ACoE closed the application as SpaceX was non-responsive on needed information for the project that expand heavy rocket launches from southern Texas.
Elon Musk commuted securities violations, slapped down by SEC
Elon Musk isn't communicating with federal government over their rocket facilities permit, slapped down by Army Corps.

Biggest problem Elon Musk and his family of companies is the actions of Elon Musk.
