Seems as if another Trump darling is stepping to the plate in taking Russia's side. Apparently Zelensky is a thug for not immediately surrendering to Russia when it began its invasion.

North Carolina Republican Rep. Madison Cawthorn recently called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a "thug" and the Ukrainian government "incredibly evil," criticizing the country and its leader as Russia invades it.

Zelensky is a criminal just like every other politician in that region of the world, the Pandora papers have proven as such. Picking a side in the Ukraine is like deciding between the Corleone's or the Barzini's.

I'd take Zelensky over Putin any day, given a choice between the two. You can say what you will about the corruption of the region, but if we've only got enough oxygen to save one of em, I'm picking Zelensky.

Seran thinks someone calling Putin's actions "disgusting" is "taking Putin's side."

Newsflash, asshole! You can think both Putin AND Zelenskyy are thugs. But you fascist alt-leftists are treating this the exact same way you treated the China virus: "You either accept everything we shove down your throat or you're a Nazi who wants people to die!!!"

Notice the Republican Madison Cuckthorn didn't call Putin a thug or call Russia's government corrupt, he specifically focused on Zelensky calling him a thug in charge of a corrupt and evil government pushing woke ideologies.

Where is /your/ outrage that this uninformed twat is attacking the leader of a country whose being violently assaulted by an unprovoked aggressor. Where is your support for the hundreds or thousands of innocents being murdered?

Well you ARE kinda reinforcing his statement of you being a radical antifa zealous idiot with your whole absurd “silence is violence” response…

So if we all don’t assemble and shout loud profanities at Putin at the same time every day, will you be reporting that crime to the MSNBC thought police?

I’m sure you have facts, evidence and data to support your claim?
Zelenskyy actually gives a shit about Ukraine, it’s people, and his country’s future, how many politicians can you actually say that about? if he was in fact corrupt as all other politicians, he would have accepted Trump’s offer.
He’s still in Kyiv, rallying his people and giving them hope, he’s survived multiple assassination attempts, rejected America’s offer to get the fuck out of there, while every other politician would run in his situation. He’s shown time and time again, he’s not like other corrupt politicians.
He’s loved by pretty much all Ukrainian citizens, his intentions are and were never about personal wealth, enriching his friends, or doing anything that would harm his country.

Nice deflection. Another Putin sympathizer I imagine?

So it's true that Zelensky is named in the Pandora papers but what comrade is forgetting to mention is his offshore Investments predated any connection with politics. Zelensky was a comedian and actor prior to running for president and assuming office.

There’s nothing wrong with having money in off shore accounts/investments, I mean I even have some, and I’m sure quite a few other people on these forums have offshore accounts and investments. But like you said it was well before he became a politician or even got involved in politics. He was a successful actor and comedian. With all the corruption that was happening in Ukraine, it’s no wonder why he moved his money out of Ukraine and into offshore accounts/investments, to protect his own money.
