It was a dumb comment to make, innocent or not. The school board is at fault because they're likely terrible, because school board. The woman is at fault because as a gun owner, you don't use the ownership of a firearm as a threat. That's really, really stupid. I own a firearm. I don't want you to ever know I have it on me until I have to use it. I don't need to threaten or brandish it to prove a point or de-escalate a situation.
