Thread: January 6th: The ultimate "you all got played"

You'd have to be an idiot if you think the rhetoric and terms he was using was "code" for the crowd to physically "attack" the capitol, you are an idiot and cherry-picking terms used in political speeches all the time. All because you dislike him.

Could link all the ACTUAL calls for violence from Democrat Politicians, but you'd just say something stupid to defend them.. which makes your assertations about Trumps "intent" all the more asinine.

If you all had any semblance of principles, and called things as they were, not as you want to slant them.. then maybe you'd have some standing, but as it is.. you all don't, so... you don't.

"basically everyone" is basically incorrect and stupid.
So the speeches played no part and if they aren't given then everyone rushes the capitol still?
No, I am not Drauz in game.

    "Violent insurrection." LOL!
"Trespassing" is literally the basest charge that literally everyone can be charged with so yes it the most numerous. There is plenty of assaulting police officers in there, destruction of property, and some weapon possession charges in there.

I got as far as the first one and just had to laugh on out of there:

Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building
Oh no! Parading?! We almost lost our democracy that night!!!!

It's just laughable that supposed grown adults can watch the events of Afghanistan unfolding over the past week, you know, an ACTUAL violent insurrection that resulted in the overthrow of the government, and think what happened on January 6th was anything even remotely comparable. Get outta here.

You could say that about every speech, every word, every comment ever made then.

I bet you're part of the crowd that thinks video games, and that "darn rock music", cause people to do evil things.

Uh they were being encouraged to chant "Stop the Steal" the whole time, Trump pointed to the Capitol building and said "the steal is going on in there right now, this is your last chance to save your country". Meanwhile the speakers were repeatedly asking them what they were willing to sacrifice for their country and were invoking imagery of war.

Oh and it was a crowd full of fucking right-wing armed militiamen. *And he knew that*

What the hell was the President of the United States of America doing calling in a bunch of armed militiamen, pointing them to the Capitol, and telling them to "stop the steal" at any cost while every member of Congress and his own Vice President were busy supporting the peaceful transition of power? You think that crowd of Trump supports all flew down assuming they'd be marching on the Capitol? Somehow they all attended the same rally and all got the same great idea to go march on the Capitol and break in. What a coincidence, right?

At MINIMUM- that's a fucking questionable thing to be doing under any circumstances. His job is to protect our Constitutional processes, not put them at risk. Capitol police lost their lives that day and many ended up in the hospital. Did Trump EVER say he was sorry? Or express any sense of anger at what happened to them? (Hint: No)

Meanwhile, we're glossing over the fact that he was told repeatedly by his own DoJ that there was no massive fraud, and that the election was the safest and most secure election we've ever had. And the fact that the states had all run their audits (multiple in some cases) and found no errors. And he still spent months lying through his teeth about this magical massive voter fraud no one could see and that over 60 Judges all said they had no proof of.

Oh and in the middle of the insurrection (you know, when people were killing police officers and vandalizing our Capitol building) he told them they were special people, and that he loved them. This is while they were actively roaming the halls looking to fucking hang Congresspeople and his own Vice President.

So go on. Tell us more about how poor innocent Trump is the real victim and how it's just so crazy to think there was anything wrong with all of that.

Remember when Democrat leaders told people to get in the faces of Republicans and then those people spent over a year burning down private business's and murdering cops?

This reminds me of the time people like time4tyranny wanted to read my poem before I performed at Winterfest (or maybe that was Bardfest...)
