The question from the "impartial" moderator started out as:

"You have repeatedly criticized the vice president for not specifically calling out Antifa and other left wing extremist groups."

So you're thinking "Finally! A tough question for Biden! 'Will you condemn Antifa and other left wing extremist groups for committing so much violence over the past few months'?"

But instead the question morphed into: Trump, will you condemn white supremacy and right wing groups and tell them to stop adding to the violence?

Then the second Trump says Antifa is bad, which you know was part of the whole setup question, Wallace is like "No no! We're moving to the next subject! We can't have you bad mouthing Biden's violent core support group!"

If this debate was a shitshow it was 100% Wallace's fault. If the GOP had any sense they would demand all "journalists" stay far away from future debates and bring in actual impartial third party moderators.

Some people are saying Biden really said "In July?" But listening to the video I'm not sure, I can kind of hear it being "In July?" and it makes more sense in context, but it sure as hell does sound more like he's saying "inshallah."

None of it really matters though apparently because Biden's campaign is saying he said "inshallah."
