I've got a dwarven rogue I'm back to playing that I'd really like to be swinging an axe with.
Right now I've got a very nice falchion I'm swinging:
a silver-hilted blue vultite falchion with a carved serpent handgrip
> You glance at a silver-hilted blue vultite falchion with a carved serpent handgrip. The vultite falchion has a ruby-eyed ivory skull mounted upon it. The ivory is mottled brown and green and exudes a foul odor. The cracked teeth within the jaw are set crookedly, but someone took the time to sharpen them to a razor edge. The faceted rubies stuck within the eye sockets seem to follow you when you glance at the skull.
It's 8x and crit weighted. Loresong:
> It has a bonus of +40 from a normal falchion, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it requires skill in edged weapons to use effectively. It also has some type of special ability, but you can’t tell what yet.
>
> As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the vultite falchion in your hand… The harmonics generated tell you that the falchion inflicts more fearsome wounds when it strikes. You feel that you have reached the end of the falchion’s song.
Again, I like it, but I'd like to trade it for an axe of some kind. Ideally trading a bit up if I can.
I'm also in the market for a nice set of Metal Breast Plate for my same rogue. I'd say 6x minimum and ideally with some padding of some kind.
