Thread: Nindon's Ensorcelling-by-the-Week Auction

  1. #481

Default Auction Ending Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 4:30 p.m. ET

I have three more weeks of necrotic energy to auction on the same terms as in the first post. Bidding is "per week."

I will call the auction at 4:30 p.m. eastern time on Sunday, April 8, 2018, unless there is a bid in the two hours before that time. If there is a bid within two hours of the auction ending time, then I will extend the ending time by one hour to 5:30 p.m. eastern time to allow an opportunity to beat the late bid.

I'm looking to go from t0 to t5 on a plain 10x shield. My bid is for the total process with mb x #of weeks. I believe that meets the terms of your auction. If I'm bidding wrong let me know please.

I only do projects that can be done all on the same day. Unlike the Enchant spell, there is no reason you should have to go without your item while it is being ensorcelled. A sorcerer can hold a maximum of 3.5 weeks of necrotic energy. I auction up to 3 weeks at each of my auctions. That means I can do one of the following:

    T1, which costs 1 week,
    T2, which costs 1.5 weeks,
    T3, which costs 2 weeks,
    T4, which costs 2.5 weeks,
    T5, which costs 3 weeks,
T1+T2, which costs 2.5 weeks, or (not and)
T1 and T3 on two different items, which costs 3 weeks.

I try to avoid projects that cost 3.5 weeks, because that leaves me no room for failure. But I will attempt T1 and T4 or T2 and T3, if that is what you want.

I cannot do T0 to T5, because that would require 10 weeks. You can always participate in multiple auctions for projects that require more than 3 weeks. There is no known mechanical benefit from using the same sorcerer for subsequent ensorcelling.

The word "weeks" is confusing, because in this context it refers to a quantity of necrotic energy (based on how long it takes for a diligent sorcerer to accumulate the energy), instead of referring to how long it takes to complete a project.

Got it. I think. Ill bid 1million per week for however many tiers you can do now. I believe it'd be 1+1.5 weeks to end with a tier 2?

Man, this is a hell of a professional operation you're running. I'm impressed.
