There's no argument to be made here. The streets were a complete melee, both sides are guilty of violence and an idiot ended up getting killed. Pointing fingers at one side only promises to increase the violence.

You and your comrades continue to argue it was bad that someone brought a gun to a knife fight. I'm arguing "Well you're all dumbfucks for getting involved in a street fight". It's not shocking someone got killed in a street fight, I really don't care what form of weapon was used.

No she's an idiot that got involved in a street fight.

My heart goes out to Heather Heyer's family. She died standing up against hate & bigotry. Her bravery should inspire all to come together.

She died because the Governor failed to do his job and a civil war broke out in his state.

See the problem is that's not how this all works. No matter how you try to twist it, paying your taxes does not give you an excuse to run somebody over who happens to be in the street.

The driver in question happened to run into both a parked truck and another car in from of him who happened to be stopped for the protesters. Do they have no recourse either?

She died because some Nazi-wannabe rammed his car into a crowd of people.

You're arguing with the tool that thinks it would be a good idea to drop nukes all across the middle east to teach them a lesson.

You seem to want to blame everyone except the guy in the car that murdered Heather.

PS. She was murdered because she was marching against hate trying to make the world a better place for everyone.
