That is a nice, simplistic explanation that leaves out a LOT of other issues that no one wants to address.

Malpractice insurance, lawsuits, indigent care, other legal blocks, taxes/fees, defensive medicine and the dwindling supply of health care workers just to name a few.

But hey, it allows people to feel better blaming "greedy" hospitals.
