Oh, you won't drown. There's very little actual material in there. If you could magic it out intact to look at, it would probably be the size of a few coffee grounds. Most of what you see in your picture is just swelling. Given the amount of pain PK's describing, his was likely a LOT bigger than yours, and he didn't drown. It's amazing how much a tiny thing can hurt, when your body isn't happy with it.

You should kiss as many strangers as you can find.

Calm down you're not going to drown in throat puss and blood.

Pretty sure I have a partial tear in my achilles. Fuck my life. Appointment and xray on Monday to confirm.

This is why I do as little physical activity as possible.

It will vary depending on how soon you get it treated.

Ahahahaha. On a serious note you'd have to let it go untreated for quite awhile before it would rupture on its own. And if it's just itchy right now then it's still at a somewhat early stage.

I had my right tonsil get one 4 or 5 times.
I had mine removed when I was in 5th grade, I think. I don't miss them.

How sad. I'll take the injury than being lazy to have avoided it. There's a lot of things I can still do without that achilles, just not as much fun stuff as I normally do. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of one legged rowing for a while haha

The dr said it probs wasn't contagious anymore because I made an off-hand comment about kissing people.

IM TOO YOUNG TO DROWN IN THROAT BLOOD.
(even if it's impossible, I fear it).

I think I'm gonna go back every day (starting Monday) until it gets better to make sure my throat doesn't explode. Free school health care? Yep.
I got that job, by the way

Relax. You, in particular, are never too young to drown in your own throat blood.
