Nerve Staves - Affinity
Trying to figure out a way to blast through the last affinity tier on my nerve staff to unlock the damaging flares, and I had some questions about how to gain affinity points.
1. If you ward a target that is immune to the spell's effects, but they fail the ward - will you get affinity points / credit? (i.e. using 701 or 1101 on something that cannot bleed or has no blood)
2. What about spells which do not inflict damage - like 703?
3. Does casting the same spell, like 701, on a target over and over again while successful, but which the spell won't likely kill (like trolls) give you affinity points / credit?
4. Does using any spells with a hidden roll (or spells that inflict effects or damage on many targets), like E-Wave or Grasp of the Grave cause any affinity to be earned?
5. Is Affinity earned per target affected? (i.e. open casting 703, or 717)?
