    Default F2P Spell Research

    I have been compiling a bunch of information on the F2P system to identify which spells work in F2P, and which are restricted. So far, I've taken a Cleric, Paladin, Warrior, Bard, Empath, and Monk to 20+ trains. I've also been listening to what went on with Wizards.

    In addition to spells, it is also important to note that mana sharing is not limited. You can share as much mana as your training will allow.

    The "standard" rules for F2P are as follows:

    - All stacking spells are restricted to 2 hours on self-cast and otherwise. You can cast it for more than 2 hours, and it will show up on your spell bar with more than 2 hours duration, but when you do "spell active" command it will display less than 2 hours remaining.
    - F2P characters are blocked from using beneficial "buff" spells on friendly targets save for the 1st spell of this type in each minor spell circle (101, 401, 1204).
    - All room effect spells that are persistent are blocked without a spell pass.
    - All room effect spells that are instant will have a cooldown period (30-90 seconds).
    - All harmful / offensive spells are blocked from being used on other players.
    - All healing and raising spells will be subjected to the "list" mechanic (10 players on the list, no single name may appear more than twice -- First in First out queue).
    - Travel, locate and presence type spells will have a 60 minute cooldown.


    Here is the list of spells tested and how they function for F2P characters:

    Minor Spiritual:

    101 - This spell can be stacked on yourself up to 2 hours, and cast at anyone else for up to 2 hours duration.
    102 - Self-cast only (considered an attack on other players)
    103 - Self-cast only.
    104 - Self-cast only.
    105 - Self-cast only.
    106 - Not restricted.
    107 - Self-cast only.
    108 - Not restricted.
    109 - Restricted because it apparently "could endanger other players"
    110 - Cannot be used on players.
    111 - Cannot be used on players.
    112 - Self-cast only.
    113 - Not restricted.
    114 - Not restricted.
    115 - Self-cast only.
    116 - Can be cast once with a significant cooldown period (pretty sure it's an hour).
    117 - Self-cast only.
    118 - Cannot be used on players (not sure if the area version is restricted).
    119 - Can use normally on yourself and hostile targets, but not on other players.
    120 - Self-cast only.

    Major Spiritual:

    201 - Cannot be used on players.
    202 - Self-cast only.
    203 - Not restricted.
    204 - Self-cast only.
    205 - Not restricted.
    206 - Not restricted.
    207 - Self-cast only (not 100% on this one actually).
    208 - Can only use on enemy NPCs, not on players.
    209 - Not restricted.
    210 - Cannot be used on players.
    211 - Was unable to test with sufficient blessings lore to see if this spell could be bestowed on other players.
    212 - Cannot use on players.
    213 - Blocked completely.
    214 - Cannot use on players.
    215 - Was unable to test with sufficient blessings lore to see if this spell could be bestowed on other players.
    216 - Cannot use on players.
    217 - Failed to test (likely that it has a cooldown similar to 410, 909, 912, and 709)
    218 - Not restricted - functions normally
    219 - Was unable to test with sufficient blessings lore to see if this spell could be bestowed on other players.
    220 - Blocked completely.

    Cleric Spell Circle:

    301 - Normal (only works on undead)
    302 - Cannot use on players.
    303 - Self-cast only.
    304 - Not restricted.
    305 - Not restricted.
    306 - Cannot use on players.
    307 - Self-cast only - does not buff your party.
    308 - Works as usual for use with Raise Dead - Cannot use on living players.
    309 - Self-cast only.
    310 - Self-cast only - does not buff your party.
    311 - Cannot use on players.
    312 - Cannot use on players.
    313 - Self-cast only.
    314 - Self-cast only.
    315 - Self-cast only.
    316 - Cannot use on players.
    317 - Failed to test - might have cooldowns.
    318 - Subject to the 10 person queue rule mentioned above.
    319 - Self-cast only.
    325 - Blocked completely.

    ** Also worth noting - for clerics you cannot use a Chrism at all, even if someone else created it for you, only subscribed clerics can use Chrism gems.

    Minor Elemental:

    401 - This spell can be stacked on yourself up to 2 hours, and cast at anyone else for up to 2 hours duration.
    402 - Self-cast only.
    403 - Self-cast only.
    404 - Self-cast only.
    405 - Not restricted.
    406 - Self-cast only.
    407 - Restricted to personal found boxes.
    408 - Restricted to personal found boxes.
    409 - Cannot be used on players.
    410 - Spell has a 30 second cooldown.
    411 - Not restricted.
    412 - Cannot be used on players.
    413 - Cannot be used on players.
    414 - Self-cast only.
    415 - Cannot be used on players
    416 - Not restricted.
    417 - Cannot be used on players
    418 - Blocked completely.
    419 - Blocked completely.
    420 - Requires special passes to utilize
    425 - Self-cast only

    Major Elemental:

    501 - Cannot be used on players.
    502 - Cannot be used on players.
    503 - Self-cast only.
    504 - Cannot be used on players.
    505 - Cannot be used on players.
    506 - Self-cast only.
    507 - Self-cast only.
    508 - Self-cast only.
    509 - Self-cast only.
    510 - Cannot be used on players.
    511 - Self-cast only.
    512 - Not sure actually, I think this is a 30 second CD spell like e-wave.
    513 - Self-cast only.
    514 - Cannot be used on players.
    515 - Self-cast only.
    516 - Cannot be used on players.
    517 - Requires a special pass.
    518 - Blocked completely.
    519 - Cannot be used on players.
    520 - Self-cast only.
    525 - Blocked completely

    Ranger Spell Circle
    601 - Self-cast only
    602 - Self-cast only without a Spell Casting pass
    603 - Self-cast only
    604 - Self-cast only
    605 - Self-cast only
    606 - Self-cast only
    607 - Works normally - can't be cast on players
    608 - Works normally - self-cast only
    609 - Cannot use on players, utility works normally with a 30s CD between uses.
    610 - Not restricted.
    611 - Can only be used for self-cast (no point in ever casting without a pass)
    612 - Not restricted.
    613 - Self-cast only
    614 - Blocked completely.
    615 - Not restricted.
    616 - Cannot use on players
    617 - Self-cast only
    618 - Self-cast only without a Spell Casting pass
    619 - Not restricted.
    620 - Blocked completely.
    625 - Self-cast only

    Sorcerer Spell Circle

    701 - Cannot use on players.
    702 - Cannot use on players.
    703 - Cannot use on players.
    704 - Appears to work normally.
    705 - Cannot use on players.
    706 - Cannot use on players.
    707 - Not restricted
    708 - Cannot use on players.
    709 - Blocked completely.
    710 - Open cast blocked (targeted only)
    711 - Cannot use on players.
    712 - Self-cast only
    713 - Cannot use on players.
    714 - Blocked without a pass.
    715 - Cannot use on players.
    716 - Cannot use on players.
    717 - Cannot use on players, 30 second CD with floating eye and open cast
    718 - Cannot use on players.
    719 - Cannot use on players.
    720 - Blocked completely.

    Wizard Spell Circle:

    901 - Cannot use on players.
    902 - Self-cast only (utility works normally to bolster combat skill).
    903 - Cannot use on players.
    904 - Cannot use on players.
    905 - Self-cast only.
    906 - Cannot use on players.
    907 - Cannot use on players.
    908 - Cannot use on players.
    909 - Blocked Completely. (including Evoke + Stomp cannot be used at all)
    910 - Cannot use on players.
    911 - FIXED! (Self-Cast only)
    912 - 30 second cooldown for use.
    913 - Self-cast only.
    914 - Cannot use on players
    915 - Cannot use on players
    916 - Works normally
    917 - Cannot use on players
    918 - Blocked completely.
    919 - Self-cast for sure, not sure about casting on others
    920 - Works normally
    925 - Blocked completely.


    Bard Spell Circle:

    1001 - Cannot use on players.
    1002 - Cannot use on players.
    1003 - Self-cast only.
    1004 - Requires a special pass.
    1005 - Cannot use on players.
    1006 - Self-buff only - does not buff your party.
    1007 - Self-buff only - does not buff your party.
    1008 - Cannot use on players.
    1009 - Normal use, flares / enchant worked fine up to level 20 (when it become +20).
    1010 - Self-cast only.
    1011 - Blocked completely.
    1012 - Normal use, flares / enchant worked fine up to level 20 (when it become +20).
    1013 - Cannot use on players.
    1014 - Normal use, flares / enchant worked fine up to level 20 (when it become +20).
    1015 - Blocked completely.
    1016 - Blocked completely.
    1017 - Blocked completely.
    1018 - Blocked completely.
    1019 - Self-cast only.
    1020 - Has a 60 minute cooldown.

    Empath Spell Circle:
    *** Note - Empaths much "touch <playername> link" and wait 30 seconds for the link to establish to transfer injuries from other players without a special healing pass ***

    1101 - Cannot cast at other players (harm version) - works fine offensively on hostile targets.
    1102, 1103, 1104, 1105, 1111, 1112, 1113, 1114 - Self-cast only.
    1106 - Cannot cast on players.
    1107 - Self-cast only.
    1108 - Cannot cast on players.
    1109 - Self-cast only.
    1110 - Cannot cast on players.
    1115 - Cannot cast on players.
    1116 - Not restricted.
    1117 - Cannot cast on players.
    1118 - Not restricted.
    1119 - Self-cast only.
    1120 - Cannot cast on players.
    1125 - Not restricted! - Your party will get buffed and heals passively!

    Minor Mental Spells:
    1201 - Cannot cast on players.
    1202 - Self-cast only.
    1203 - Cannot cast on players.
    1204 - Can cast up to 2 hours stacked on players (normal stack on self).
    1205 - Self-cast only.
    1206 - Doesn't do anything.
    1207 - Cannot cast on players (no restriction on casting since it is targeted)
    1208 - Self-cast only.
    1209 - Self-cast only.
    1210 - Cannot cast on players.
    1211 - Cannot cast on players.
    1212 - Not implemented.
    1213 - Self-cast only - does not buff your party.
    1214 - Self-cast only.
    1215 - Self-cast only.
    1216 - Self-cast only - does not buff your party.
    1217 - Restricted to one cast per hour.
    1218 - Self-cast and enemy cast only - cannot be cast on players.
    1219 - Not restricted.
    1220 - Self-cast only.

    Paladin Spell Circle:
    1601 - Self-cast only.
    1602 - Cannot cast on players.
    1603 - Self-cast only.
    1604 - Not restricted.
    1605 - Not restricted! - Will buff your party.
    1606 - Self-cast only.
    1607 - Self-cast only.
    1608 - Has a cooldown, and cannot be re-cast until the cooldown expires.
    1609 - No longer buffs party, self-buff only.
    1610 - Self-cast only.
    1611 - Self-cast only.
    1612 - Self-cast only.
    1613 - No longer buffs party, self-buff only.
    1614 - 30 second cooldown updated
    1615 - Cannot cast on players.
    1616 - Self-cast only.
    1617 - Not restricted! - Will buff your party.
    1618 - Not restricted! - Will buff your party.
    1619 - Self-cast only.
    1620 - Seems to carry a 60 minute cooldown (though I didn't get a lot of corpses to test it on).

    Armor Buffs:

    - Crush, Piercing, Slashing resistance are blocked for F2P.
    - Fluidity, Casting, Stealth, Evasion, Support, Reinforcement - Self-buff only.

    These are all normal restrictions not related to F2P.

    Yes, you are correct. I just went through and put down the behavior for all the spells. The majority of the spells function the same for both paid and free subscriptions with normal use.

    yeah 911 restriction needs to be lifted, make it just self cast for them instead of a massie.

    Seems odd 611 is self only and castable for free to play but that's probably because it's an 11 mana version of 601. As far as I know the ranger spell circle buffs are self only and can't be cast on others. 619 is a mass spell but fully useable with no cool down as far as I can tell (only know up to 619 on my ranger) however 609 seems to have a cool down and 614 can't be used at all.
