I think there were rumors going around that the new one would take place in Boston and have a lot to do with MIT. Supposedly Bethesda employees were seen in the area scouting it out and there have been some leaked documents.

As far as the image, it's got more of a western feel to it but the armor is pretty similar to what the eastern Brotherhood of Steel uses.

I watched the trailer, definitely feels like the city they showed is huge. Boston? Maybe. I really wish game stuff wasn't so vague at times.
