    I recently finished testing the voln symbol cost at all levels and updated the sexual-favors script. So now the script knows exactly how much favor you get for killing undead, and how much favor each symbol costs, at every level. And yet, this is not enough to satisfy my unhealthy need for an accurate script.

    If you've used a recent version of the script, you may have noticed that after you kill some undead, the script will tell you how much favor you gained, but it might put a (+/- #) on the end of it. This is because after level 20, monsters can spawn at a higher or lower level than their base level, and the script can't easily tell what level that is. The script is calculating how much favor you'd get for the base level and adding that. Then, it's calculating the favor you'd get for the maximum and minimum levels the monster might be, and keeping track of how inaccurate the script might be. This accurate number of inaccuracy grows higher and higher, and something has to be done about it!

    The script is able to calculate the exact level of the monsters, so long as you cast a warding spell at it, and the script knows the TD offset for that monster and spell circle. I've added the TD offsets for the minor/major elemental/spirit, cleric, wizard, and sorcerer circles for (nearly) every undead.

    If you'd like the script to be more accurate for you, or you just hate the empty spots in the data set (and you should), then here's what you can do:

    1. take your ranger, bard, empath, monk, or paladin out to your favorite undead that doesn't have a td offset recorded.

    2. completely dispel the undead

    3. cast a warding spell from the minor elemental or spirit circle at the undead

    4. cast a warding spell from the ranger, bard, empath, minor mental, or paladin circle at the same undead

    5. post here the undead name, first circle name and TD, second circle name and TD

    If the undead casts a defense spell on himself between the two warding spells, the numbers are no good. If the undead runs around a lot and you're not sure if the second cast went to another undead by the same name, then you're not sure if the numbers are any good.

    This TD offset we're trying to find is simply:
    (undead level * 3) + offset = actual dispelled TD

    The most annoying part of finding the TD offset is finding the exact level of the undead. Luckily for you, I've already done that step for the minor elemental/spirit circles, so we can now bypass that step. If the dispelled TD of the undead is 5 higher for the ranger circle than it is for the minor spirit circle, then we know that the offset is also 5 higher, and we don't care what the actual level of the undead was.

    Anything with a "nil" needs a number, or possibly needs to be changed to "na" if the monster is immune.

    Then, there's also the issue of the undead in the deadfall area. For these, even the base level isn't known for sure. My sorcerer is in Shattered, where there is no deadfall, so I can't really do much. I uploaded a script named calc-td-offset, which just dispells a monster and casts 703, 701, 102, and 409 at it, does some math, and tells you the offsets. Running this once for each of the deadfall undead (Wehnimer's militiaman, Taladorian mage, Taladorian knights, night serpent) would be helpful, but still wouldn't give you the base level, and any calculated levels more than 5 higher or lower than the base level in sexual-favors will be ignored.

    I can probably do some of the Icemule undead later.

    Just to be certain, binding a critter doesn't affect TD right? I'd hate for that to mess up the stuff.

    The information I need is:

    Where one of the spell circles is either minor elemental or minor spirit.

    I need to be able to compare the TD of the new circle to the TD of a known circle.

    I'm trying to figure out which spells would be safe to test for this because I would like to find one critter and get all testing down without killing the critter and having to find a next. Web is obviously a bad idea. 110 shouldn't do too much damage. I'll try that instead.
