You could also always go play them in DoW2! Although, they never seemed to be the unending tide of Tyranids that they should be.

Im not much for RTS games unfortunately.

I can't speak to the first DoW, but DoW2 felt more like an RPG than a true RTS to me. It used to constantly go on sale on Steam for super-cheap. Probably still does. Might be worth a shot to see if you like it.

I think the Space Hulk games allow you to play as the genestealers in multiplayer.

There are mods out there that will basically turn it into full on RTS battles with absurdly high troop numbers that rival the original Dawn of War.
