The number on the back of your card references your account number, you use it to determine which routing number is associated with your account. The number on the back is not the actual routing number that you're trying to verify on that wiki page.
If you're not matching the numbers, all you're doing is noticing that two entities used letters in their filing systems. Not to violate my own Fifth Amendment rights, but I too once devised such a filing system to put an archive into the desired order: 2012, a2011, b2010, etc.
