He had a 1214 too, I think he wanted like 20mill for it or something. 1215 is Blink, right? I had one of those, got roughly 18 mill out of it in trade value. Even with current silver values, 6 mill is cheap for this item.

You can parry (better if you have Transformation Lore) empty handed (not if you are holding things). You can also disarm opponents who strike your arms.
