Not exactly sure how this is a response to what I wrote.. I was just breaking down how it works.

Last restaurant I managed, Employees tips were pooled and split up among the servers, hosts and bussers. The cooks were owners so they didn't partake in it. The staff also got paid slightly more then min wage besides the tips. Tips would range anywhere from $20 to $200 or so per night. It wasn't a big restaurant, but I felt this was one of the fairest ways to distribute the tips.

    Fucking socialists.

Everywhere I worked, servers kept tips and tipped out bus boys and bartenders at the end of the night. Everyone had a rough idea of how much everyone else made in tips, so they knew how much to expect. You screw the others over consistently and they dont help you do your job. Pretty simple

Is that per person or total? Just how small was this restaurant?

Was per person, total staff was around 15, typical shift had 6-8. Definitely wasn't big. Only had seating for 30 or so.

I mostly was in charge of the bookkeeping, supplies and scheduling. Slowest nights were Sundays, The restaurant would make the majority of its income off of Fridays/Saturdays.

Sundays were mostly loss or break even days.

The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening and answer falsehoods depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.
They're claiming that this is false now, despite the fact that they admitted it in the middle of the TV show?

What these dickheads either don't realize or refuse to acknowledge is that if customers were aware that the tips they left went to the owners and not the servers, they wouldn't be leaving tips at all. I sure as fuck wouldn't.

I've never watched any reality show before where I genuinely wanted to severely beat the people on it until these two.

    after Sammy emigrated from Israel.
    Guess that explains it.

    I apologize to the Jews.

She also was convicted an served time for bank fraud. Stealing another's ssn. Not generally something a honest person does.
