Weapon Question

I'm bringing back some old characters and wanting a good combination of different attack styles.

I'm trying to figure out of I should use my ranger or my rogue for archery.

I posted in the rogue thread a few days ago and it seems ranged is what most people use, especially in their later years.

What is everyone's opinion on ranged weapons for a ranger? I have a halfling and had planned on hiding and sniping, but if a rogue is a better option, I will change my rogue to that. Does anyone else use TWC or THW or OHE/Board with their ranger?

Ranged is the most common for rangers to use followed by sword/board, after that there are a few who use other styles/weapon types. What you use is up to you, if you go ranged with your rogue and want something different by all means try something different.
