    Water isn't the antithesis of fire. Fire is hot, so its antithesis is cold. Water may snuff fire, but so does earth. Air fuels fire, but can be cold. Water and earth must oppose each other along with air and fire opposing each oher. Air and water on its own must make ice, while air, fire and water, must make steam...
