    Default Glaes Claidhmore

    a translucent smoky glaes claidhmore

    >look claidh
The immense, yet graceful, blade of this weapon is forged from translucent smoke-hued glaes which is hammered to a keen and viciously sharp point. The fullers of the weapon have been tempered into a darker hue, making the spine of the sword an opaque ebon color. The hilt is fashioned from smooth alabaster willow, providing a stark contrast to the sculpted black glaes of the pommel and sinuously curved crossguard. You see writing etched into one of the quillions.
There appears to be something written on it.

In the Common language, it reads:
    "Sentinel"

    Max light at 6 lbs.

It must have taken forever to get that thing down to 6 pounds.

I had one taken to max light and I think it took 8 times... Seemed like it'd never get there

You ain't lying. Every time I lightened my glaes claidh it would be 1 to 2 lbs max.

I don't know about you guys, but I've found at least two merchants willing to max lighten or max deepen items as one transaction. The merchant notifies us but, yes, it's a more limited basis.

I'm actually kind of surprised they moved to minimum weights by item with little or no regard for material. With the exception of some of the new metals, they seem to have decided that you can lighten items down to the same minimum weight. I'm not complaining mind you, just find it a little surprising. I suppose they know we're all such packrats, and it's such an easy way to satisfy our need for a sense of having accomplished something without having to really introduce anything new or write any code, etc.

PS: that is a nice claid.

That claidhmore was a salt-stained glaes claidhmore that I bought from packrat. One premium visit by the premie guy, 2 lightens there, each was worth 5 pounds, took it from 18 to 8. Pretty sure it was only one lighten after that.
