Default MagiQuest - The world's largest live action game.

So my wife sent me this link, since we're thinking about going to Myrtle Beach for my daughter's 4th birthday.

Has anyone ever gone to one of these places? I think my kid would get a kick out of it.

Not sure if I should tell my wife to make a reservation or if I should just tell her to google image search LARP, and tell her that will be our kid's future.

    Yes!

I went with my children once ... they were probably ~10ish or so. 4 might be a little too young, though. What do they say is the recommended age?

We had a blast. It was a bit on the pricey side, with lots of options to buy cute magic-y things, but it was a lot of interactive fun with puzzles and a magic wand that you pointed at stuff.

You have to do it at least once.

They put one in the mall near me. I sort of wanted to hang around outside and beat up people as they exited... but I didn't. Because deep down inside, I wanted to play, too.

I couldn't actually find anything on their site about recommended ages, though I only looked for a few minutes.

My kid can read pretty well if that makes a difference..

I took my son to the one in Myrtle Beach last year and he had a blast. The Boardwalk area that it's on is also really nice and a great way to spend an afternoon.
Pay for the whole day and get everyone involved.
