I try and mix it up, usually biography and fantasy, but I have a Michael Connelly book on my desk (legal/detective) and Labyrinth by Kate Mosse in my bag (going to Carcassone in a few weeks). I also just ordered a signed copy of You're Not Doing it Right by Michael Ian Black.

Mostly school stuff, but occasionally I will get a novel or informative opinion book in there.

    Terry Pratchett over and over.

Mostly fantasy type stuff. I tend to do binge reading when I'm in the mood and burn through a series in a week or two and go months without.

The poll seems really ambitious in that it is tracking books per week. Most people I know are like books per year.

    0 typically.

I read a LOT on the internet, though, but I suppose that doesn't count. I do read on occasion, but definitely the exception rather than the norm.

0... I used to read 3-5 a week when I was a teenager and could read all day in school instead of paying attention to the teachers who weren't teaching me anything. Once I got out of High School.... work, kids, and a social life don't leave much room for reading. The bit of spare time I do have I play games (GS is just a big Choose Your Own Adventure, right?)

Reading children's books to your kids counts, right?

I'm up to about 1/10 of a book a week these days. I used to go thru 1 or 2 a week but nowadays I guess I spend too much time doing other stuff.

I used to read a LOT when I was younger. I guess I still do, but I read lots of random shit on the internet instead.
