New Ranger, Stat advice?

Hey all,

I'm spectacularly terrible with numbers, so after pestering a few people I know, I was directed over this way. Hoping you lovelies might be able to give me some direction in the stat department.

I'm hoping to go half-elven, ranged, no ambushing.. probably won't go too high on armor. Maximized for 50 would probably be fine, since I tend to be the slowest leveler in the history of man.. along those lines, the best exp absorption rate possible would be snazzy.

Also curious as to what you think is best for bows.. Is the harder hit of the longbow worth it?

Just put some high numbers in your STR, DEX, and LOG stats and you'll be good from what you said. Think 70-80 in each.
