Adult Friend Finder is a money laundering company for the Chinese. Can't remember which show did an episode on it, but basically it's a complete scam. There entire "company" is a one office in LA. That isn't to say that prostitutes have found a clientele on there, but I would never in 100 years give my credit card to any dating or pron website.

I have the character flaws so maybe that's why E-Harmony felt so wrong to me.

It feels wrong because their profiling process targets steady, predictable people who are not bored with life. In some ways obviously this is a bad thing. It's a tool and you have to know what to use it for. I'm not going to find a political revolutionary or creative pioneer on this website. But the people I do find will be able to maintain a job/home/life style/relationship or all of those. It's a brilliant piece of profiling technology. At least in my opinion. If you can overlook the Christian theology that fuels the engine, you can drive the car where you want.
