Caster Empath

So I am new to GS4 and am interested in playing a caster empath. I don't want to just sit around in town and heal people for xp and my husband plays with me so we go out and hunt together often. I am trying to get an idea of what I should do with my stats, especially since I am still in the time period of when I can change them around.

These are my current skills/stats. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. I do use a runestaff currently.

Are you wedded to the idea of a dark elf? I recommend open hand casting (shield and brawl when u get higher level), council of light and a race that has decent spirit regen. If you are able to reroll, you may consider it.

Dark elf empath isn't bad, especially if you go GOS. With a little blessing lore you can pretty much have infinite mana. Anyways, you should decide whether you want to bolt or cast. Bolting is really hard as an empath early on. I'd suggest casting for the first year at least.

Pretty much this. I was having a blast with my dwarf empath with 13 spirit +3 regen using heavy padded double chain and CoL. Getting the padding for "free"and not having to use the enhansives by being in GoS would be even better.

I have debated many times in switching.

I have Rogane in COL and at 12m exp now. I use a +22 runestaff and 4x doubles. That's all he needs to survive.

Yeah, thats 2m more xp than me, and I remember you went with less lores than I have for other reasons, and I think you might have had less mana.

It was important for me to keep 215/211 running for my entire group at all times. Also, Zealot forces my entire team to be perma offensive.

Yeah, I was trained completely different when I had a group going. With my CS and mental lore, 1106 is pretty unstoppable, plus I have a little summoning for wither.

It's actually 11.1m exp, but this could give you the general idea of a casting empath. I was doing spell aiming, but decided to get enough transformation to drop all heal RT, then I'll go back to spell aiming.

I'm a warpath with a maul after Rogane's previous build.
Went dwarf and GoS and I'm loving it. Only 42 trains but I can wait for 65 blessing. It's coming!

How do you down.war griffins without web bolt? I web bolt then firespirit them and bone shatter till dead...or wither if i want to see the nice messaging to break it up. i had trans lore and dropped it down some for spell aim.

118 has a -25 TD when cast as a spell. I used that to full advantage when I was only 202 spells.
