I didn't want to say but they do reveal in episode 1 that the dream was an island all along, so there's that.

Though it's not likely everyone's cup of tea, I have enjoyed Syfy's Defiance. I watched Dominion as well, but that show is still fairly rough around the edges. I've also been watching The Last Ship, Falling Skies, and Attack on Titan. Blue Exorcist just wrapped up, and the replacement looked kinda shitty.

Gurren Lagann is really good, I saw it in another venue. Overall I would say it is just as good as Blue Exorcist, and really a like for like swap.

I finished Falling Skies/am up to date and am just getting started on Defiance. There are a few parts of FS that I feel you kind of have to "slog through" but for the most part it's worth it.

Saw the trailer up-thread and bought the season pass, loving it so far. That guy is weirdly attractive in a snarky, inexplicable, British way.
