There are some glaring plot holes and wtf moments in general. They also blew most of their budget on voice actors and music so animation begins to suffer at some point with scenes literally repeating themselves, shot for shot, frame for frame. It's even worse in Destiny.

I highly recommend Thunderbolt as well. The designs are great, the story is awesome and it has jazz.

Just finished it up and gotta say I enjoyed it quite a lot. There are some great characters/character arcs. Just sad it ended so abruptly and didn't go into the aftermath at all. Definitely noticed the clips that got replayed a lot, they seemed especially fond of the one of the captain falling over in her command chair and her chest jiggling like jello.

Anyways, try out Iron Blooded Orphans. That's an amazing series right there.

I feel like some of the units were over designed but otherwise pretty solid. Those Acguys fucked up that forest.
