If I could 125 boxes in it, I'd be all over it.

You can actually! You just need 625 + a 40 summoning lore to 125 indoors :P

.. now that I think about it never mind I withdraw my bid.
From the way I imagine these get used best, is not for a person with one account or that only solo hunts. MAYBE if you were in the rift or something like that and wanted a place to stockpile boxes in between hunts.

They really shine in the fact that you can keep your support/slave chars in a private room, and even in your hunting ground to refresh spells, pick your boxes, and do all their other tasks, while staying close by and safe from harm.

I use mine in a similar way as Sheikh described. Especially when I'm fried and want to sit out somewhere while I'm far from town and rest it out.

normal tents are not nodes, perhaps only auction tents are nodes?
And it's nice that even normal tents are fixed so that non-aggressive npcs can't push it over now.

The big/auctioned Tent I bought from this Ebon gate is not noded, how ever it is very safe from critter or npc alike. According to Hkala more info listed below. I have find it useful few times already hunting in the rift, able to get in a safe room to heal backup beats trying to climb two thread with massive bleeder or missing limbs. (hate those Belly of Beast encounters!)

Hkala says, "Alright, the large tents will hold you and three guests."
Hkala says, "You have to escort the guests inside."

Hkala says, "You can erect it in almost any outside, not in town room."

Hkala says, "Unlike the tents sold west of here, it will withstand knockdown by creatures."

Hkala says, "It will work in outside rooms."

Hkala says, "Only you can fold the tent back up--unless you die."

Hkala says, "Then your rescuer can fold the tent up so you won't lose it."

Hkala says, "If you leave the tent for 25 minutes, it will collapse, even if you leave guests in it."

Hkala says, "For 5 minutes after it collapses, only you can pick it up."

Hkala says, "Or if you stay just outside."

Hkala says, "But 25 minutes is a long time."

Hkala says, "After 5 minutes of it being collapsed, anyone can fold it."

Hkala says, "And the janitor can get it."

This is of that type. Tested it in front of critters and there were no knockdowns or invasions or anything. And updated for this evening.
